Ellen Warner joined David S. Taylor Interests, Inc. as a partner in 1999. In this capacity, she has been directly
responsible for the successful planning, design and construction of several of Sacramento’s most prominent
real estate developments including the new Sacramento City Hall complex which was named “Best Public Project”
in 2005 by the Sacramento Business Journal, and U.S. Bank Tower at 621 Capitol Mall.
Over the past decade, Ms. Warner has managed construction projects totaling nearly $1 billion.
Ms. Warner is a licensed architect and general contractor. She began her career as a Project Architect
with prominent architectural design firms including Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz. She then served as
Regional Project Director for an international healthcare company before moving to Sacramento in 1989
to become Assistant Manager of Facilities Design and Construction at University of California, Davis Medical Center.
There Ms. Warner and her staff managed a $500 million capital improvement program for the campus.
Ms. Warner attended Cornell University and earned her degree in architecture from Washington University, St. Louis.
